Horve Hospitality Management, Inc. was established in 2005 by Steve R. Horve. The company commenced operations with the development, construction, and management of the Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites in Champaign, IL. These were followed by the construction and management of seven additional hotels throughout central Illinois.
Leadership
Steve R. Horve has been in the hotel business since 1989 when he built and opened the Hampton Inn in Dearborn, Michigan. Since then he has built and owned eighteen additional hotels in Arizona, New Mexico, and Illinois. The brands that Steve has owned are: Hilton Garden Inn, Homewood Suites, Doubletree by Hilton, Home2 Suites by Hilton, Hampton Inn, Country Inn & Suites, Springhill Suites, Hawthorn Suites, Holiday Inn Express, Ramada Inn, and an independent.
Steve has built over 60 hotels over the years. He started his career building homes and developing subdivisions and, eventually, began building commercial buildings. He has built nursing homes, apartments, restaurants, medical office buildings, assisted and supportive living facilities, retail strip centers, and much more.
Steve is married to Odette and has three sons. Steve K. and Jeff are partners in the ownership of hotels and assisted living developments. Jacob joined the hotel business upon graduating from college in May 2015.
